The strategic Young Arab Media Leaders program represents one component of the Arab Youth Media Initiative. It is designed with the objective of developing an empowered generation of young media professionals and influencers. It will act as a platform that brings together independent and professional media experts with the industry’s best practices to equip young media leaders with the required skills to build a positive media ecosystem and sustain the future development of the industry. Each cycle of the program will accept 100 Arab media leaders from the Arab region.

The program consists of a number of pillars that will offer participants the opportunity to learn, connect, develop, and implement. These elements include educational courses and workshops, debates, lectures and seminars, and site visits.

Educational Courses

Educational courses and workshops encompass a wide variety of specialized programs in traditional media and digital media to hone the skills of young Arab media professionals and develop their talent. The educational program covers different topics including communication, media studies, and leadership.

Debates & Public speaking

Debates provide a platform that encourages knowledge exchange and presents different perspectives from youth in the media industry as well as media experts in a professional manner within a positive and dynamic environment. They aim to discuss the best courses of action to current challenges facing young Arab media professionals. Debates will also assist members in developing a system and a model of best practices relevant to the media industry in the Arab region.

Seminars & Lectures

The strategic media program will specialize in organizing seminars and lectures relevant to the media industry that target Arab youth in collaboration with prestigious universities and colleges that offer media disciplines alongside world-class media experts.

Site Visit

Site visits will take participants on tours at some of the best and most prominent media corporations worldwide. The aim is to experience best practices within authentic media contexts and acquire knowledge from leading personalities and organizations.
