Chaired by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Arab Youth Center launched Young Arab Media Leaders initiative. The main objectives of the program are to enable a generation of young Arab media leader, and to provide a qualitative media development program in collaboration with reputable media institutions and experienced experts to empower the youth with the latest media skills. Additionally, opening horizons for professional development, refining knowledge and acquiring new ones following an integrated system that includes specialized lectures, meetings, and contributions to building an Arab media system that keeps pace with developments, creates introductory opportunities, and field visits.
Educational courses and workshops encompass a wide variety of specialized programs in traditional media and digital media to hone the skills of young Arab media professionals and develop their talent. The educational program covers different topics including communication, media studies, and leadership.
Debates provide a platform that encourages knowledge exchange and presents different perspectives from youth in the media industry as well as media experts in a professional manner within a positive and dynamic environment. They aim to discuss the best courses of action to current challenges facing young Arab media professionals. Debates will also assist members in developing a system and a model of best practices relevant to the media industry in the Arab region.
The strategic media program will specialize in organizing seminars and lectures relevant to the media industry that target Arab youth in collaboration with prestigious universities and colleges that offer media disciplines alongside world-class media experts.
Site visits will take participants on tours at some of the best and most prominent media corporations worldwide. The aim is to experience best practices within authentic media contexts and acquire knowledge from leading personalities and organizations.
